Calibration refers to the processes that ensures accuracy and reliability of measuring instruments. 

• Detecting inaccuracies in measurement devices by comparing them to recognised reference standards.
• Quantifying and correcting errors to ensure that the outputs reflect true values as closely as possible.
• Providing documentation for traceability and quality assurance, which is crucial in various industries.
• Assessing equipment performance against standard measurements and fine-tuning devices for proper functionality.
• Maintaining compliance, many industries require documented calibration to meet regulatory standards. 

These services are essential for maintaining quality control and improving quality.

ISA (Business Development & Support) provides a ‘Calibration Support Scheme’ whereby we can provide to you with a managed In-House Calibration service for all of your mechanical measuring equipment.

Under the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 it is NOT always necessary to send all of your instruments off to external calibration houses, as long as a reference standard that is calibrated and traceable to a UKAS certificate via an ISO 17025 Accredited Company has been completed in advance.

ISA will visit your site which will be on either 3, 6 or 12 monthly as agreed, we then use the ‘reference standards’ and check all of your instruments for you without the need to gather, package and transport or post the instruments off.

Being able to do this:

• Ensures that your instruments NEVER leave your building
• All Instruments are available immediately for use in an emergency.
• You don’t have to suffer a 5–10-day delay.
• And cost……...We believe as a minimum we can save you at least 25% off your existing cost of mechanical device calibration!

Our Calibration Support Scheme includes:

• Calibration of equipment to the relevant reference standard bespoke to each specific piece of equipment or instrument.
• The completion of a Calibration Register for all your company’s equipment that requires Calibration.
• Regular review, maintenance and calibration of all items as required by industry standards that apply to each item individually.
• On completion, we will supply you with records of Certification.

By investing in our ‘Calibration Support Scheme’ you are safeguarding your operations against inaccuracies that could compromise your work, your customers and your reputation.

Monthly Support Fee

All costs of services will be invoiced to you at the beginning of each monthly period and will be subject to payment 30 days thereafter.
