This refresher course is designed to update learners who previously completed Legionella awareness training on the key principles and practices for controlling the risk of Legionella bacteria in water systems. It revisits and reinforces awareness of how Legionella can develop, what environments and systems are at risk, and the legal and procedural responsibilities for managing those risks. The online format allows participants to refresh their knowledge quickly and efficiently, staying up to date with good practice and regulatory expectations.
This course is aimed at facilities, maintenance or estate management staff, supervisors, health and safety officers, or anyone responsible for or involved in the control, monitoring or oversight of water systems where Legionella risk may be present. It is particularly suited to those who have previously undergone Legionella training and now need to refresh their knowledge and stay compliant with ongoing duties.
At the end of the course, you will take a test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with a required pass rate of 85%
Upon successful completion, you will be able to download and print a digital certificate if required. The main course certificate is valid for three years, with refresher courses available and recommended every 12 months.
