Course Description

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is an essential part of ensuring workplace safety and compliance with electrical safety regulations. This PAT Testing Awareness Course provides an introduction to in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment, helping participants understand the importance of PAT testing, legal obligations, and the basics of performing visual inspections and tests. The course is designed to enhance awareness rather than provide full practical training.

This course is ideal for employers, managers, and supervisors responsible for workplace safety, as well as facilities and maintenance staff, Health and Safety officers, and anyone looking to gain an understanding of PAT testing and electrical safety. It is also suitable for individuals who need awareness training but do not require full PAT tester certification.
