Course Description

This comprehensive Health & Safety level 2 course is carefully crafted to equip all staff members with the essential knowledge and skills required to embrace and implement the fundamental principles of health and safety within the workplace. Throughout this course, the course will include a deep understanding of the importance of health and safety, recognizing that it goes beyond mere compliance with regulations. By understanding the main ideas, workers will have a mindset that focuses on their own and others' safety and well-being.

Who is health and safety (level 2) training for?

This course is designed to provide training to all members on the fundamental principles of health and safety. It aims to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent accidents and illnesses effectively within the workplace.

Members will also gain an understanding of the responsibilities and legal obligations related to health and safety in the workplace. Members will be taught and familiarised with industry-specific regulations and relevant legislation and to avoid any potential legal repercussions.

Key aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)
Risk assessments
Manual handling
Display screen equipment
Fire safety

Test and Certification:

At the end of the course you will be given a test of 20 multiple choice questions. The required pass rate is 85%.

You will be able to download and print (if required) a digital certificate on completion of the course.

Main course certificates last 3 years. (Refresher courses are available and recommended every 12 months).
