Fire Safety

Fire Safety

Course Description

A fire in a workplace can be devastating, leading not only to the destruction of company premises but also to the loss of jobs, business revenue and even lives. Businesses are required by law to provide fire safety training. The law applies to you if you are responsible for business premises, an employer or self-employed with business premises, a charity or voluntary organisation or a contractor with a degree of control over any premises.

Who is this for?

Do you know what the fire triangle is? What the principles of fire safety are? Who is in charge if a fire breaks out? If you run a business and you don't know the answers to these questions, you could be breaking the law. If you can't answer these questions, this course is for you.

Course Content:

The Fire Safety course covers the following key topics:

  1. The legal aspects of fire safety regulations.
  2. How risk assessments can help to prevent fires.
  3. Signs and procedures that need to be in place to prevent fires.
