The course covers essential legal duties, the health effects of vibration exposure, and the correct use of control measures to minimise risks. It aims to promote safe work practices, reduce the likelihood of long-term health issues, and support employers in meeting their legal obligations.
This course is ideal for individuals who operate handheld vibrating tools such as drills, grinders, breakers, or other power tools as part of their job. It is also beneficial for supervisors, health and safety officers, and employers who have a responsibility to assess and control vibration risks in the workplace. Whether you work in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance, this course provides essential knowledge to help protect workers’ health and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations.
At the end of the course, you will take a test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with a required pass rate of 85%
Upon successful completion, you will be able to download and print a digital certificate if required. The main course certificate is valid for three years, with refresher courses available and recommended every 12 months.
