This course provides a clear and practical understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, specifically focusing on the responsibilities and legal duties of the Client. It outlines the vital role the Client plays in ensuring health and safety across construction projects, from planning and design through to completion. The course aims to improve compliance, reduce risk, and ensure that health and safety is effectively managed at every stage of the project.
This course is aimed at anyone who takes on the role of ‘Client’ in a construction project, whether in the public or private sector. This includes property developers, housing associations, commercial landlords, facilities managers, and anyone commissioning building work. It’s ideal for those who may not be construction professionals but have legal duties under CDM 2015.
At the end of the course, you will take a test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with a required pass rate of 85%
Upon successful completion, you will be able to download and print a digital certificate if required. The main course certificate is valid for three years, with refresher courses available and recommended every 12 months.
