This course provides a clear understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) with a specific focus on the roles and responsibilities of the Principal Contractor and Contractors. It explains legal requirements, best practices for managing health and safety on construction projects, and the importance of effective planning, coordination, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
This course is ideal for Principal Contractors, Contractors, Site Managers, Project Managers, and anyone involved in construction project delivery who needs to understand their duties under the CDM Regulations. It is also suitable for health and safety professionals, supervisors, and team leaders who play a role in ensuring compliance and safe working practices on site.
At the end of the course, you will take a test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with a required pass rate of 85%
Upon successful completion, you will be able to download and print a digital certificate if required. The main course certificate is valid for three years, with refresher courses available and recommended every 12 months.
