This course provides essential safeguarding awareness for those working with or around vulnerable individuals, including children, young people, and adults at risk. It outlines key safeguarding principles, legal frameworks, and how to recognise, respond to, and report concerns. Learners will gain the confidence to take appropriate action when necessary and understand the importance of creating safe, respectful environments.
This course is suitable for anyone who works with or comes into contact with vulnerable individuals, including children, young people, and adults. This includes professionals and volunteers in education, healthcare, social care, leisure services, charities, and community groups. It is particularly relevant for those in frontline roles with safeguarding responsibilities.
At the end of the course, you will take a test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with a required pass rate of 85%
Upon successful completion, you will be able to download and print a digital certificate if required. The main course certificate is valid for three years, with refresher courses available and recommended every 12 months.
