This refresher course is designed to update learners on essential food safety and hygiene practices at Level 2, ensuring employees working with or around food remain aware of current legal obligations, safe food-handling protocols, allergen management, cross-contamination avoidance and hygiene standards. Delivered in a streamlined online format, it aims to refresh understanding of key food-safety principles, reinforce good practice in food preparation, storage, service and cleaning, and help organisations maintain compliance with food-safety legislation.
This course is suitable for employees, supervisors, or food-handlers who have previously completed a Level 2 food safety course (or equivalent) and now need to refresh their knowledge. It’s ideal for those working in catering, hospitality, retail or food-service environments (e.g., kitchens, cafés, restaurants, canteens, food-manufacturing support roles) who handle, prepare, serve, store or transport food and need to maintain up-to-date competence in food safety.
At the end of the course, you will take a test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with a required pass rate of 85%
Upon successful completion, you will be able to download and print a digital certificate if required. The main course certificate is valid for three years, with refresher courses available and recommended every 12 months.
All our courses are independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
Main Course Duration: Approximately 40 minutes (excluding the final test time)
